CASTS AND CREW LOVE OUR FOOD

The team at Magic Hour Gourmet works in a custom-built and designed mobile kitchen. We have the capacity to prepare meals for small and large crews. We can create delicious meals for hundreds of people, preparing and serving them in a clean and hygienic environment.

We use fresh and seasonal local foods whenever available. It doesn’t matter where you are heading for the shoot, we know how to keep your crew and cast happy with the food.

Magic Hour Gourmet offers delicious, clean and well-organized food with attention to detail and prompt service. What makes us different from other craft services companies is that our team has years of experience serving scrumptious food to casts and crews in the entertainment and film industry. We know the importance of good food in any project and ensure that your team gets the best.

OUR CRAFTY TABLE IS PROFESSIONALLY SET-UP AND MAINTAINED TO PROVIDE THE CAST AND CREW WITH A VARIETY OF SNACKS, WHICH ARE SURE TO KEEP THEM ENERGIZED AND THEIR MORALE HIGH

What we offer

MORNINGS
In the mornings, we offer breakfast themed spreads, which include:
  • Bagels
  • Smoked white fish or lox and appointments (fixings)
  • Frittatas or hardboiled eggs
  • Donuts, breads and pastries with butter, jams, jellies and nut butters
  • Coffee, fresh juice, assorted teas, espresso
  • Fresh cut fruit, berries and whole fruits
THE MINI MEAL
Three hours before and after the catered lunch, we serve the cast and crew with hot meals of smaller portions. These are dubbed as “sandwich o’ clock” and keeps the morale of your team high. It also gives them something to look forward to, no matter how challenging their work day may be.
POST-LUNCH
Once the lunch is served by the caterers, the cast and crew can enjoy our crafty table, which has a spread of sweet and salty snacks including but not limited to:
  • Assortment of sweet and salty snacks
  • Assorted beverages including the best ice coffee and espresso machine
  • Crudité
  • Fruit platters
  • Pastries
  • Fresh baked Cookies
  • Chips with homemade salsas and dips
  • Imported cheese platters
  • Homemade, deli style, salads, like: tuna, chicken and egg salad served alongside fresh baked breads
  • Antipasto platters of assorted olives, grilled vegetables, roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella
  • Humus and fire roasted pita bread
When you visit our table it’s like going to a candy shop and more.
We also pass around hot cocoa, hot apple cider or hot soup when it is cold and the team is working outdoors.

When it’s hot, we may pass around ice cream, sorbet, frozen grape kabobs, or we may set up an action station with fresh open young coconuts filled with coconut water.

Throughout the work day, we keep surprising your team with platters of fresh baked cookies, fruits and finger foods like mini sandwiches and wraps.

We accommodate people with diet restrictions, such as vegans and diabetics. You can enjoy foods with various styles of international and continental cooking.

Our crafty table is professionally set-up and maintained to provide the cast and crew with a variety of snacks, which are sure to keep them energized and their morale high.
